What are the Requirements to Become a CFA?

To become a CFA charterholder, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or be in the final year of a bachelor’s program.
Have four years of professional work experience in the investment decision-making process.
Pass all three levels of the CFA exams, which are notoriously rigorous and cover topics such as ethical and professional standards, quantitative methods, economics, financial reporting and analysis, and portfolio management.
Become a member of the CFA Institute and adhere to its Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.
